Book Review: 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life
I received a pre-release copy of 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life by Crystal Paine (Money Saving Mom) to review. The book was excellent and full of great tips and advice about how to work towards becoming more disciplined without burning out.
My favorite part of 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life was the Mega Project challenge – Crystal has the reader choose a project the reader has been putting off, then Crystal helps to break the project down into 21 steps, 1 day per step. She offers different tips and motivation at the end of each chapter for how to accomplish the 21 Mega Project steps.
This book is like having a personal trainer for self discipline!
21 Days to a More Disciplined Life also includes encouragement for the “I wish I was as good at ___________ as her” syndrome. She encourages readers to stop comparing and start embracing their own uniqueness.
I recommend this book for anyone who wants to develop more discipline in their own life, for those who find themselves caught up in the comparison trap, or for people who (like me!) tend to come up with a fantastic plan, start out at 100 mph, then crash and burn after two days.
The chapters are doable and wonderfully motivating to assist with lasting change, not just a temporary fix to a long-term problem.
BONUS: Through Thursday, October 25th, 2012, 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life is available for just $0.99! After Thursday, the price will go up to $4.99, so be sure to order your copy now!
