This is the Stuff

The first time my husband Nathan heard me listening to the song, “This is the Stuff” by Francesca Battistelli, he started laughing and told me the song is about me.  He is most definitely correct!

I don’t have it all together and I’m so thankful that God takes my mess and creates beauty from it. This song wonderfully describes many of us who are a “beautiful mess.”

I lost my keys in the great unknown
And call me please ‘Cuz I can’t find my phone
This is the stuff that drives me crazy
This is the stuff that’s getting to me lately
In the middle of my little mess
I forget how big I’m blessed
