I want to thank you for being so kind after I shared a really vulnerable thing with you last week. The notes I received were very healing to me. And if you thought about saying something but didn’t, please know that is perfectly okay.
I appreciated the silence and privacy many allowed every bit as much as I appreciated the healing words that were sent by others.
It makes me think of 1 Corinthians 12, when Paul talked about how each member of the body has its own job, and each member is different but equally important. We all have different roles, and when each of us embraces the role we’re given in Christ’s church, we are working together to make up the beautiful body of Christ.
Thank you so much for your graciousness and encouragement, and for being a safe place for me to talk. You mean so much to me!

Have you ever started reading your Bible in January with gusto, then fallen off the bandwagon three weeks in? Me too! After starting and stopping since I was a young teen, I finally read my Bible all the way through for the first time in 2016.
I don’t share my Bible reading successes (after many failed attempts!) to brag, but to help you see that even if you’ve tried and failed many times, you can successfully read God’s entire Word, too!
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns.’” Isaiah 52:7, ESV
How beautiful to know that our God reigns and to be able to read every wonderful Word that He had written for us! If you wish Bible reading felt simpler or more obtainable, I think you’re going to love what I’m about to tell you!
