Time-Saving Tip: Coupon Bag
Here’s today’s time-saving tip:
Keep restaurant coupons in a gallon-size zip-lock bag inside your vehicle.
Restaurant coupons show up in our mailbox every week and it’s taken a little while to find a good system for us, but I’m finally happy with how we keep restaurant coupons.
Here’s what I do: when the coupons come in the mail, I set them on the counter by the door. The next time I go outside, I put them in the zip-lock bag in our vehicle. Every month or two I’ll go through the coupons while my husband is driving and I’ll gather a stack of expired ones to toss.
I feel no obligation to use the coupons, but if we’re going out to eat somewhere I can glance in the bag and see what we have that’s convenient. It’s a very fast and easy way to save a few bucks.
I don’t spend any time searching in a junk drawer for coupons or driving back home to get them. I don’t clip. I don’t sort. And the coupons are there and ready when we are. Easy-peazy.
