Get in the picture!
This is your friendly reminder to get in the picture! Your people don’t care if you aren’t wearing makeup, have messy hair, or whatever else. One day, they’re just going to want to see you with them. Or maybe you’ll be the one who wants to see you with them.
Also, I know you can’t do this every time (neither can I!), but when you join a loved one in their activities, or cheer them on from the sidelines, you’re showing them they’re important to you and that the things they enjoy have value. Even if if’s just for a few minutes or only one or two times – it all counts.
Don’t think you have to do something for hours on end or show up to every single event. Sometimes, putting that kind of pressure on ourselves can make up feel defeated from the beginning so we don’t even try.
Remove the pressure and just show up where you can, when you can – then let someone take a picture that has you in it!
